Pete, First of all - a lot (really, like Shitloads) of people use Facebook and like it - so it can't be ALL that Bad (as I have an account on there - but, I'm not very active).
Secondly - this is just yet ANOTHER Type of Spam - and you can't totally blame FaceBook about it. There's almost always been SPAMmers out there - and they keep changing their game - so I see no point in getting angry about it!
