I have this fully-patched Vista Pro laptop that needs to be rebooted every time

mistakenly try to play a DVD in it. Or accidentally open up Windows Media 
Center. Or 
remove the USB mouse. Or run iTunes for more than 3 days or so. Or if the boys 
play 
flash games online too much (like more than 30 minutes).

 From what I gather, my experience is fairly typical.
