Just got an iPad for my wife for this. Book prices are REAL HIGH for the iPad. :( I am not a fanboy of the "Apple is the land locked mans new boat" motto. You can get the other readers for other devices to use the others content. I am looking at getting the text files as well and when she gets back to Memphis with it we will check it out. She loves the device! I have her email pulled through gmail and she likes that. She also has tunes running as well. She liked Pandora for a little bit. Yes the iPad is a lot of $$$$ but it is twice the computer the other devices are.
