Leland, Thank you very much for your hard work. Unfortunately my original description must be flawed because I seem to have confused everyone. My challenge is that indented text in Word is indented by a paragraph indentation property and not with spaces or tabs. When I export a Word document to a text file format there is no leading whitespace present that indicates whether the paragraph was indented in Word. I was hoping there might be a Word setting that would insert spaces or tabs during the export process to indicate indentation. Alas, it appears that there is no such built-in feature.
