hard life here. I had to go to the beach. dolphin feeding. sigh the ocx was put in windows/system32 and registered using cmd in admin mode. it did register but it seems to me the registry is the problem. maybe the registry cannot be seen by some users. Al

It's the 32-bit support for old applications that this is designed for which causes the problems. If the installer runs as a 32-bit application then it works where it gets installed.
