hard life here. I had to go to the beach. dolphin feeding. sigh
the ocx was put in windows/system32 and registered using cmd in admin mode.
it did register but it seems to me the registry is the problem. maybe the
registry cannot be seen by some users.

>From what I've seen, yes. It's the 32-bit support for old applications that
this is designed for which causes the problems. If the installer runs as a
32-bit application then it works where it gets installed.
