I want to automate setting file permissions on a Windows 2003 file server. I attempted this a number of years ago with then current command line tools. I abandoned the project because of limitations in the tools. In looking around the web I came across SetACL by Helge Kline. http://helgeklein.com/ . What I see looks good but I know that I will need to spend some time reviewing how file sharing and permissions work as well as learning how the tools work. Before I invest the time I'd be glad to hear any comments or recommendations anyone is willing to offer. Thanks in advance, Joe Yoder
