Matt, This solution doesn't really help if you need to set ownership permissions on the files which is usual on a network system of any complexity which is shared by user groups or needs to run under group policies.
I did look but there doesn't seem to be something simple that you can use to do this. The vagaries of M$ Active Directory!!!
