If you're looking for a stop gap solution that leverages your knowledge
of VFP, take a look at Foxweb.

The best long term solution is to look at new development tools and
frameworks designed specifically for the web scenario you describe.

Two open source approaches:

- Python and the Django framework (makes CRUD apps like you describe
easy)[1]
- Ruby and Ruby-on-Rails (RoR) framework

You might also want to take a look at the hosted development service
that Stephen is looking at.
