Hi Leland,

Fair enough. My inclinations resemble the Democratic party of the late 
1950s, after they had at least nominally rejected the Ku Klux Klan.

But the Sarasota Ds stuck with the Klan until 1971! Perhaps the last 
hold outs! By then I had become an R.

On a side note, I have never met an "Animal Rights" person who was not 
"Pro Choice" on abortion. To save the fetuses have them declared "animals".
