Ed, Servoy came out to LA Fox several years back. During the presentation a couple of us began peppering the speaker with issues pertinent to a VFP developer. We were trying to blow the product out the water as an AppDev tool but the presenter had answers to almost all of our issues. We came away favorably impressed (though not fall out of your chair impressed) with the capabilities.
One thing I clearly don't like about the product is the fact it tries to shield you from the data. The "UI Good/Data Bad" FileMaker paradigm won't work very well with VFP developers.
