For clarity: You *can* run FoxPro for DOS and FoxPro for Windows on Windows 7 32-bit, any flavour (Home, Pro etc.) You *cannot* run them (or any other 16-bit software) on Windows 7 64-bit, any flavour.
However, if you have Windows 7 64-bit Professional or Ultimate you can download XP Mode. This lets you use a 32-bit virtual Windows XP that is more or less seamlessly integrated into Windows 7. You can run the 16-bit Foxen under that. It used to be the case that your CPU also needed to support hardware virtualisation for XP Mode to work, however a recent update has changed that. -- Alan Bourke alanpbourke (at) fastmail (dot) fm _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
