We have close friends who did this to their driveway. The wife is a
very dear, sweet, smart lady, but a little flaky.  They marveled at
what a good job the driveway heater did. At least a month later they
discovered that she accidentally set the thermostat for this thing at
about 70 degrees (F) and forgot about it. Oh, and the driveway is
about 250 feet, and widens in front of their 3+ car garage.

Wouldn't you love to have seen the gas bill?
