Getting an OS update on an Android device is difficult compared to
Apple i??? or Win7 phone. I have the Apple and my son has a Droid.
Those are his words that I quote as his only issue with the KILLER
device that the Droid is.

I'd wait on the tablet and let the roll out of the new tablets hit the
market and follow the bloggers suggestions. I got my wife an iPad
last summer and she loves it. What I want to see is the camera on it
to make video calls or tablet oriented skype calls.

Her only complaint on the device, iPad, is the Apple ban of flash and
that is part of games she likes to play off of facebook.

I bought it as a reader for her but she rarely finds what she wants at
a price she will pay. It works great for reading web pages full of
text much like a course or a paper. Same for pdfs.
