I agree with Charlie, if the xoom is priced right, I will get one. I watch CNBC all day and saw a tablet with a cell phone docked on it. The cell phone gave access to the internet. You can copy information from the tablet to the cell phone, etc. Unfortunately I did not get the name so I could not research it, but that looked like a good alternative.
re: updating android. I have a sprint evo 4g (Las Vegas has had 4g for more than a year) and I have had several updates - they are in the background and transparent - no problems at all. This is easily the best phone I have ever had. The one con is the battery life, but I have a 'new trent' battery that I can put in my pocket with a connecting cord that makes the phone life more than 10 hours. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Charlie Coleman" <[email protected]> To: "ProFox Email List" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, February 10, 2011 2:54 AM Subject: Re: [OT] Tablet Go Android. You'll never look back. And you won't get caught in the proprietary OS junk with MS or Apple. There are a host of Android tablets out there though. So should you wait? Hmm... I'm seriously considering the XOOM, but if the price is too high I may go with Samsung. So in a way, yeah I'm waiting to watch prices, etc. -Charlie At 02:37 AM 2/10/2011 -0800, Eurico Chagas Filho wrote: >Hi > >I am seriously thinking of buying a 7" tablet.
