This is my preferred method, too. BUT -- I have had several people complain about it -- they just *hate* it. It seems so logical to me: they send a note with 3 questions, and I respond to each in-line, i.e. in-context. But they crab about it so much that I have stopped doing it by default. Maybe it is another guy/gal thing, since (as I think about it) the complainers have all been women. (Not that this is without precedence <g,d&r> Oh, boy. *Now* I am in trouble!)
