I had a BBC Micro which I decided to upgrade to discs. I took it to the dealers and waited whilst the all-important chip was fitted then took it home with a box of 10 5.25" floppies. I put it on my desk and wondered where to start as I'd never seen a floppy until then. My 8yr old daughter came in, elbowed me out of the way, and said 'This is what you do, we have these at school'. A serious put-down :-)
I've still got the games discs I made plus a couple of boxes of 8" floppies in their original wrapping.
