Thanks Dave: This stuff looks very promising. I have the newer extender which is not a candidate for this software, but for a $20 refurb, I'll give it a try. I haven't read through all the instructions yet, do you know whether or not I can reinstall the Cisco/Linksys stuff if I can't work through the dd-wrt update?
