Well since the state knows why the prison population is increasing ... Expanded violations that carry prison sentences, some of which shouldn't IMNSHO, along with the passing of the three strikes law have resulted in an increased population and tricks that have cost lives to keep felons out of jail. No these tricks have not resulted in an avalanche of loss of life but is even one too many?
