Yes, Word 2010 (and probably 2007 as well) has its own. BTW, in Windows XP you can view the clipboard contents, but that capability was removed from Win 7.
I've been using ClipMate, a high-powered clipboard extender, for at least 15 years. It costs $35, but I couldn't live without it.
