Tax the rich and the rich move to a different country. Brilliant!
Tax the middle class and poor and you will literally tax some people to
death, (eg some of the poor will die for like of food, clothing, and
shelter). Tax the rich, and you only reduce their happyness marginally
factoring in the Diminishing Marginal Utility of Wealth. LOL
And the rich move to a country that makes more sense to them. So
reduce taxes for everyone, as Bush did, and cut spending to balance
the budget.
President Bush reduced taxes on everyone, among other things, which put
the economy in the toilet. LOL Ever since the great crash of 2007 the
economy has been so weak the Bush tax cuts to the wealthiest 1% of
Americans have been repeatedly extended, but will expire at the end of
this year, hopefully.
Why would you advocate for the Republican trickle down economic polices
that have hurt the USA so badly. The problem with trickle down
economics is nothing really trickle down, the rich get richer, the poor
get poorer, and the divide between the two widens until a lack of
balance eventually destroys everyone, including the riches 1% of Americans.
