If you find that one computer runs quickly when no one else is running
the application but that as soon as another computer connects things
start to slow down, you need to look at your opportunistic locks
settings. If that's the symptom let me know and I'll pass on the
instructions to set them correctly.
I don't think SMB2 results in a slow down, just corrupted indexes (and
possibly dbfs).
