WAG that the data type the dataset claims "VFP-Date" is not usable in C#.

So try to convert the date into string from VFP statement.  Have a
conversion column in your C# container to receive the proper C# date
types in a convert.ToDateTime().  I think I had to do this 8 years ago
when I tried to first use VFP data.

VFP Dates are not a play well with others issue.
