Can anyone point me to some documentation on using the .netrc file? I am
trying to write a script that utilizes FTP, and the FTP commands are
supposed to be stored in the .netrc file. My system did not have one on it,
so I created one in my home directory thinking that to be the logical place
for it, but that does not appear to be the case. I have looked through all
of my books, and a couple of on-line references, but I can not find any
mention of this file.
