Greetings:
I just purchased a dell inspiron 8000 1GHz with the Nvidia GeForce2 GO
graphics card. My problem is that I want to install progeny, but I am unable
to get past the initial boot screen. I have tried to boot following the
instructions for the non-graphical install, but the first part of the
install requires a graphic interface. I am unsure what to do next. I cannot
even install debian 2.2r3 due to the pcmcia driver which conflicts with the
system and causes it to crash. I am aware that nvidia has some drivers
available on their website for linux. Will these drivers be included in the
next update of progeny? Any help that anyone can give me will be greatly
appriciated.
