Greetings.
When I run apt-get upgrade (after running apt-get update),
certain packages are held back. How do I force apt to not hold
back the ones I want upgraded? The packages I'm most interested
in are the Gnome packages. Progeny has made 1.4 available, which
I would like to upgrade to, but apt-get insists on holding back
the gnome packages.
I apologize if this is an RTFM question. I've read through the
apt-get man page and couldn't find the answer, so if the
documentation does answer this, please point me to the correct
documentation.
