I suspect that you've gotten an upgraded version of abcde from the Testing or
Unstable .debs, but have Progeny/Newton as your base system. You'll need to
either by hand fix all of the dependencies with Testing packages to fix this,
or upgrade. (Vorbis tools is now up to 1.0rc2-1 in Woody, but only1.0beta3-1
in Newton/Potato)
On my Progeny/Woody system, my apt-cache shows:
