Hi., I have installed progeny sometime back and have kernel 2.4.9 and xfree 4.1 installed. I have this ati all-in-wonder radeon 32 mb card with tv-out. When i connect my tv to the card and start up, I can do everything without running X. But once i try to run X, all i see on the tv is a big white stripe. After doing some research i have also tried the framebuffer (fbdev) stuff with X but then x complains that there is no framebuffer device available( i have also seen someother program complaining about /dev/fb0 earlier) Anyone have any pointers to lead me in direction of getting graphical x on my progeny with tv-out ? I know the problem is more complicated than stated but any input is greatly appreciated..
