Linda I'm not clear why you are prevented from installing in any other folder than Program Files, can you explain in a bit more detail what exactly you are installing and how, and what system you are installing on?
I can say is that on my Windows 7 computer I've successfully tested installing to folders other than Program Files and updated without using Run as Administrator. I've also successfully installed to Program Files and used the JHS interface to update from JAL by using Run as Administrator.
