Why dishonest?

Granted, I approximated, but there are a variety of costs here having
to do with making sure the result is reliable and works properly.

Mind you, with that kind of price, I might lose the customer, but
think about it, this price has to include things like:

* Training costs for myself (assuming I do not know python)

* Testing costs for the new system

* Finding the right pieces (python 2 or python 3? which of the many
libraries are appropriate?)

* Hiring costs for the person I am finding to help me

* Ongoing maintenance costs

Note also that if someone wanted me to do construction work, my prices
for that work would probably be higher than the price if they hired
someone that had been in the business. I could offer them a lower
price, of course, but the resulting work would probably be shoddy or
take an excessively long time, because I could not afford to do any
better when just getting started.
