No, sigma considered harmful.  In conventional notation there's big sigma
for summation and big pi for product.  But how do you do max insert (>./)?

Min insert (<./)? And insert (^./)?  Etc.

 

Infinite series (products, etc.) best done by having infinite vectors.  See
