Both J701 and J602 _are_ available for Linux, and in both 32- and 64-bit 
versions.

Is your complaint just that J is not available in the form of an RPM or by 
using apt, yum, etc.? If so, that’s more the fault of the Linux community, 
which seems hell-bent on having many “dialects” of the OS, not of the J 
community.

I hope some day soon this forum will migrate to a live on-line forum (not just 
an archive for reading), so that one can see posts when s/he wishes and not 
just have stuff arrive in the mailbox.
