May be some of the files are out-of-date. Now built again, please try start j by sudo, eg sudo ijconsole
then inside j session, type install'qtide' the libjqt.so should be installed in folder for debian64 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/ The deb is installed on /usr so that root privilege is needed. OTOH the zip can be installed inside user's home and does not require root access.
