All, but especially Eric, Bill and Joey,

Murray posted the following message to Programming, but I cannot find it in
the archives. I had thought I did not need to reply to this forum because I
thought the postings below mostly described some closure on this issue.
Otoh, please read to the bottom because there is a small issue outsanding.

"No problem here running jhs801, with Safari as the browser, under OS X
10.9.1.

"Sorry to ask something obvious: When you saw the bouncing icon in the
Dock, did you the open your browser window to URL
http://127.0.0.1:65001/jijx ??"

I replied to Murray's message, thinking others would see it, but apparently
my reply did not appear either. Next is/was my reply.

"Murray,

"That's all I needed to do. It was not *obvious* to me. You are right. I
was waiting for the terminal window to open and tell me to enter
http://127.0.0.1:65001/jijx .

"Now, the opposite is happening. The icon won't stop bouncing in the dock
for quite some time, maybe 2 minutes. But even if it is still bouncing
`exit''` makes it stop bouncing.

"Thanks for the help."

So, my problem is most fixed, but I would still like to know if I missed a
change in the intended behavior of a jhs launch. Is opening jhs801 by
clicking on the icon supposed to generate a jconsole session (or a maybe
its better described as a terminal window) that tells the user to enter
http://127.0.0.1:65001/jijx
in the browser. If such a change was announced I missed it. If the change
was not intended then I think there is still something wrong with the
launch system for jhs801.

Thanks,
