Since we can compile and load any app with Xcode, perhaps you can release the source code and let people who are eager to run it on iOS to do it.
It would be difficult to release it through App Store any way, so I can see that the incentive for you guys to work on it may be low. If you already have some half working code that worked previously, you could just release it. Maybe that would bring more developers to J.
