Although normally I can backspace my way all over a comint buffer, with (1!:3)&2 that doesn't work Anyways, 1!:2&4 should give you the incomplete lines you are looking for in jconsole. But note that they have different behavior in jqt (you won't be seeing them if you don't make special arrangements). Right, but I'm not using stout. Is this the intended behavior of (1!:3)&2 or do you think it might be a bug?
