I do not dispute your sense of priorities. I was intending to track
down the nonce error myself if/when I had the initiative to do so.

That said, I do not think we need to do much to decide how to apply
the gerund - it's fine to treat higher ranked gerunds as nonces until
we're ready to implement them.
