When you see an adverb like 1 : '17&|@x'
please change it to 1 : '17&|@u' Henry Rich On 8/19/2018 4:38 PM, Brian Schott wrote:
Having attempted to edit fsoj39 and fsoj40, I am giving some thought to attacking fsoj41, but the subject matter is way out of my experience range: finite arithmetic involving modular algebra algebra, I think, but don't quote me. I think I have found one consequential but minor error on page 264 of the pdf version below, where the following line should use 23, not 17. mod=.1 : '17&|@x' NB. set modulus But my question is mainly about the line graphs on page 268. The line graphs have arrows that I don't understand at all, to the point where I question their position and meaning. For example, of the 3 first graphs, the third has an arrow to the left of _3 and I wonder if it should be to the right of _3 as in the first two graphs. The fourth graph is apparently different from the others in that the negative numbers on the axis, although missing, are imagined on the left side of zero. Not only do I not understand the graphs and arrows, I don't have a clue about how their corrected versions can be represented in html on the wiki. So I would welcome someone else taking fsoj41 or at least giving me pointers.
