Puzzlement rather than problem, I hope.
So I've just downloaded the new zip for windows 64, overwriting my
existing J807 files and folders.
Absent-mindedly I then opened JQt before updating JQt, realised I should
have done the latter, so
closed the JQt session, and then ran the updatejqt.j807 shortcut.
Here's a copy of the resulting dos-type window session:
Updating server catalog...
Installing 1 package
Downloading base library...
Installing base library...
Done.
Installing JQt slim binaries...
Finished install of JQt slim binaries.
Installing Qt library... [END}
I think the update window normally prints a line saying something like
"press any key to exit", but this didn't happen. So I forced the update
window to exit by clicking on the X symbol.
Restarting JQt seemed to work ok, with this version info:
JVERSION
Engine: j807/j64/windows
Beta-i: commercial/2018-08-22T14:27:51
Library: 8.07.16
Qt IDE: 1.7.7s/5.9.6
Platform: Win 64
Installer: J807 install
InstallPath: c:/d/j807

There seems to be nothing amiss; should I be concerned?
It _might_ be relevant that I had found something called Jig Augmented
Display
in the Help/Studio/Labs menu, had loaded it, and been told it needed
the full
Qt libraries, so I'd loaded them up a day or so ago, with the
appropriate load
command in Jconsole.
Have I ended up with a mixture of slim and fat? If so, does it matter?
