How does one use the jupyter-notebook front end to J807? Specifically, on macOS.
The link “download/jupyter’ at https://code.jsoftware.com/wiki/Guides/Jupyter <https://code.jsoftware.com/wiki/Guides/Jupyter> still points to http://www.jsoftware.com/download/jupyter/ <http://www.jsoftware.com/download/jupyter/> where only special packaged versions such as "JDemo_macOS_x64-64.zip” are available that still use J805. And those JDemo versions have a different structure than standard J with respect to distribution of files between the application and the user. Namely, JDemo/J805 includes a subfolder user and inside that, among other things: - a “config" folder that includes some, but not all, of the files normally found in j64-80x-user/config, namely, base.cfg, dirmatch.cfg, folders.cfg, qtide.cfg, style.cfg, userkeys.cfg; - a “projects” folder that would normally be found in j64-80x-user; - a “snap” folder that would normally be found in j64-80x-user; and - a “temp” folder that would normally be found in j64-80x-user. Is there not some nice way to either: (a) include the juypter interface with the distribution; or else preferably ... (b) include a suitable add-on that connects with a separate Jupyter installation, e.g., the Anaconda distribution that’s recommended at jupyter.org/install <http://jupyter.org/install> ?
