Bo,
The base library is updated with pacman the same way as addons. The exact
steps depend on which front end you are using.

If you are familiar with updating addons then the same steps should work.

In JHS you would use the the ide>jal menu for a gui interface.

In Jqt you would use Tools>Package Manager.

There is doc at the wiki (keywords pacman, jal (J active library), and
package manager).
