Thanks Raul, I always find the greatest challenge is to identify the audience. You are right that in this case I assumed an advanced beginner who would know some of the fundamentals, but perhaps not the specifics of the Head verb.
I am more intrigued by your identification of an audience that may be more interested in some of the quirks of the language than the basics. Do you think that this approach would have an audience? It is certainly a niche that has not been otherwise filled and to be honest I am not sure that I have enough knowledge to dig up and understand those idiosyncrasies, but I would welcome input. Another approach that I could take is to make some foundational videos that explain some terminology such as items, frame or rank and have those accessible as links in the video when those terms come up. I do wonder if having the viewer dive down the rat holes as new information becomes important is the best way to transmit information, but I suppose that if it is only done a few times then it would safely be ignored and would not disrupt the flow of the video too much. In any case, if you have more specific thoughts on refining my approach I welcome them. I suppose what I am doing with these videos is trying to identify a use for these tools.
