Bob, I think I noticed a pattern where each "item" in each example has a separate blue background. If that is the true intent, a) you might mention it b) in the first "atom" example, the item has a blue border, only. c) I get a little confused after that with s20 and s02, maybe because I have difficulty understanding the difference between empty items and non-existent items. It's especially important for the backgrounds and borders to be consistent. (It might even be helpful to make clear that s20 and s02 are i. 2 0 and i. 0 2, if that is correct.)
