You can also add a line to body (do) of loop that is globalvar =: var.

The integrated debugger will also let you access the private variables if there 
is a break inside the loop.

What I do is: debugging globals are assigned with

name   =: value

Then it's easy to make the global change from '  =:' to '=.'
