I was writing a long and boring justification for Skip's enquiry, when
I noticed
the discrepancy between:
$n=.odo 24#2
16777216 24
and
$ns=.16777224 3 8$,n
SO - it seems that Skip miscopied 16777216 as 16777224 !
Just a short and boring refutation instead.
