I have no problem with what you said and I agree with you. But more generally,
try to install J in something like 'c:\my programs\' and I believe it wil not
start...
In my case, this is the function I use to load a sudoku grid. 'grilles' is a
subdirectory of '~user'. As I said the problem occurs because the J stuff is in
'c:\my programs' instead of 'c:\myprograms'.
