Andrew i used to diddle with that stuff a lot more... in the type ball days. i expect you could do almost as well in ascii with ' ''.:' It would be nice if unicode included rectangular dots for all patterns of a 3x2, 2x2 or even 3x1 grid... 2x1 is not a lot of win:-}
