I think this kind of language was completely uncalled for. Nowhere in my posting I suggested to abandon cut and key in favor of grade and iota. The benefit of an excersise would be the same as benefit of any other excercise (and I am not going to explain this last statement any further). Also, if you take time to read posting carefully you will see that those are not even called excersises, but illustrations.
