I could not be sure from your message whether you
were trying sj3ogl.ijs at all, because 'g' applies to both
it and to the test script that was included in the posting.
So let me paraphrase what I think you found.
"glsel 'g' in paint was necessary to get both
tgsj3ogl.ijs and testoglrepeat.ijs to react properly when
the graphics screen is in focus to keystrokes like 'x' in a
windows environment using either a C++ or a java frontend.
The try N experiment worked in testoglrepeat.ijs in both
frontends as long as N<:35 ."
Thank you, again. If it is not too much trouble,
would you please try try N with N>:50 in testoglrepeat.ijs,
too.
Hi Brian,
I tried again the testoglrepeat.ijs, this time it work without the glsel 'g' so
that I cannot remember what was going wrong last night.
for c++ frondend it worked after try 50 , try 100 and try 1000.
for java frontend it failed after try 50,
(actually it failed after try 21 to 24)
for java frontend it worked after repeating "try 5" 10 times.
I guess it is the java frontend (in window or mac) that causes trouble.
