httpget is a member of a set of HTTP tools that uses
pumping fairy simple and effective handling. The others
are a simple web server (probably similar to lighttpd) and
Pump (as sort of proxy or tunnel). They also share logging
and similar config settings, etc.
They can be combined under a common addon, such as web/pump.
But they are not they only existing and possible http
solutions. The other possibility is to see what other
tools exist so that they can occupy the spots in a
web/http addon.
