I use ~user/ for single-files scripts and
~user/folder1/, ~user/folder2/ etc for larger
libraries with resource files etc.

Then you sync the user folder between installations
and computers.

It's better to put the actual code under ~user folder(s)
and the load'...' statement in ~user/config/startup.ijs

For GUI apps you may want to create F-key shorcuts,
which also load'...' from ~user folder(s).
